King's Lynn St Michael's Rifle and Pistol Club , situated near King's Lynn in Norfolk, England, was formed in 1903, as part of a government-backed drive to promote marksmanship in the aftermath of the Boer War.
Run by a committee of members, under strict Home Office guidelines, the club is now dedicated to the peaceful pursuit of marksmanship via competitive shooting.
The present site was opened in 1971 by the late Earl Spencer, father of Diana, Princess of Wales. The club offers excellent facilities having an indoor 25 yard range for calibres .22 to .577; a nearby 50 yard outdoor range, and monthly access to MOD ranges (100 - 600 yards) for 7.62 rifle, with 303 allowed.
